There's something amusing about buying
a) very expensive Leitz lenses and
b) a stripped down rangefinderless Leica for a fast shooting experience
...only to then use a Zenit lens on it via a Rube Goldberg-esque contraption.

It's fun, though.

First I must thank my lovely wife for waking me up early morning to tell me there is heavy fog... I love Sydney and its harbour. To be around on a morning like this and make photos that help me show my love for this city, to be able to share these photos with you means the world to me. If you get a chance to look at this on a bigger screen you'll see the beautiful subtle and film-like grain from Q2M’s sensor. After over a year I'm still blown away by this camera.

#Leica just released the Q3, and my gear acquisition syndrome is hitting hard.

I was just talking to @thereisnocat about Eastman Fine Grain 5302, a 6 ISO orthochromatic duplicating film, and found this shot I forgot about while looking for examples of its tendency to flare.

This is really special stuff, and I should make more of a point to shoot it more often.

Something a little different for this edition of “Jamelle Shares a Photo.” I took this on a drive home from State College, PA a few months ago. I’m a sucker for either a) an old sign or b) a rotting motel. The combination of the two was irresistable.

It’s a digital photo, so I used my #Leica. And I used my favorite lens, a Konica 50mm from the late 90s when the company made the (somewhat baffling) decision to compete with the Red Dot with a high-end rangefinder.
