Last year I discovered an unloved memorial to Ada Lovelace in a churchyard near to where I live.
The memorial is in the churchyard of Kirby Mallory in #leicestershire
She lived in Mallory Hall (now demolished) which was nearby. She was not buried here.
It's a shame that the memorial isn't kept in better condition, and is so little known
We’re off to the Pear Tree Inn at Woodhouse Eaves for Christmas lunch today, really looking forward to it! Tomorrow we will cook up a storm for some friends. #leicestershire
