Another logo design I did this morning. Was watching a video about Dan Clowes and while I was drawing this, which to me felt excessively precise and detailed, I was like "Holy shit, this guy is INSANELY anal about his work." Every single stroke carefully planned. Who the hell cuts rubylith sheets anymore? Very cool.
I'm lucky to formulate the idea before I'm inking it.

People sometimes get confused by old versions of letters in carved lettering. One of these is a variation on w - the lower case 'cursive w'.

The churchyard has the tomb of a Huguenot weaver showing tools of their trade.
There are also a number of early grave markers with carved and lead-filled letters (this was a notable lead-mining area from Roman times).
