Justin Verlander was simply magnificent tonight, giving up just 3 hits in eight innings in the #Astros’ 5-1 victory over the #Mariners.
He was perfect in 7 of the 8 innings.
The victory gives the Astros a 1.5-game lead over Seattle for the 3rd and final wild-card berth.
