Broke af years ago, digging thru a church store for vintage kitchen design to toss on eBay. I found this c '55 multi media on paper by the France-then-Mexico-city poet and proto abstract expressionist Alice Rahon (was phillipot). Friend of Frida Kahlo, Henry Miller, Andre Breton.... It was priced at just a few dollars given that it was apparently made by somebody's kid at the kitchen table and left there too long. Eventually sold it to a collector back in CDMX for several hundred. #midcentury
