I just came home from seeing #godzillaminusone and I'm still shaking. It's by far the best #Godzilla movie since the original. It's set in #japan right after the WWII. Some cultural elements from that period may be difficult to understand for non Japanese audience but it's emotionally gut wrenching and sweet. I've never cried (a few times during the 2 hours) in a theatre for a long time. It's a screenshot from an early part of the movie. After that, I was so engrossed in the movie with clenched fists. Beautifully done through and through. #movie

I've had a copy sitting on my hard drive for years, but I finally got around to watching #OurRobocopRemake.

Part crowdsourced art project, part parody, and part fan protest at the 2014 remake, filmmakers broke Paul Verhoeven's 1987 #Robocop into 60 parts and remade the #movie scene-by-scene.

“Inkheart” was recently recommended to me. I don’t know how the movie, or the book it’s based on, escaped my notice for so long. It’s about the literal magic of books and writing, which is exactly the sort of story I’d be interested in. Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren, and Andy Serkis are all unsurprisingly great in the movie, and, bonus, there’s a unicorn.
