And yes, the things may be done there or there or in both. And there is no golden rule, and everything will or may exist, and it is up to the people to do what they want.
#I notice in @bubbline 's original toot and in many toots under it a general sentiment, which #I share: there is too much of "passive" discussion and too little "active" discussion. The ratio is not #right .
And #I am not interested in solving it for everybody. #My proposal is for #you, perhaps for others and for #me to have a #forum, where we can better coordinate, create and achieve than here 🙂

I love “ID links” for headings that take you to the corresponding URL fragment. GitHub provides them for rendered Markdown.
What’s the best way to do them, though? I’m considering:
WITHOUT:

WITH:

Then use CSS for `h1 a, h2 a, …` to only show an underscore on hover. Benefit: It’s a relatively simple transformation and the result works without JavaScript.
