I remember that on this occasion I was sitting in the car in a Tim Horton's parking lot near Halifax airport, waiting for @stevenkennard to text to tell me he had landed and I could go to pick him up. It was raining and misty and rather eerie with the light coming from these two phone booths. The call did come.

Some points:
(a) Science is not perfect. What they know today changes tomorrow, with new research. Scientists used to think radiation is good for us, even in the beginning of 20th century! Can you believe that? Many years ago they thought vegetable oil & trans fat was good for our health, now we see the opposite is true. So that means science isn’t always right.
(b) Same logic can be applied to them. Many of the scientists who don’t believe in God laugh at religious people who believe in God, because believers can’t prove God to them. Believers can also laugh at them for believing in dark matter.
(c) Scientists are humans. People are becoming atheists now like crazy. Mainstream media makes it look like there is nothing more perfect than science. Sometimes they make it look more logical than religion. People see scientists as their guide. But reading the above, do you think they are that intelligent? Do they ever not make mistake?
(d) Atheists are misusing science. Atheists say there is no place for God in science despite the fact that Albert Einstein & Isaac Newton, two of the greatest scientists, both believed in God. Charles Darwin, the author of theory of evolution by natural selection which atheists use to “disprove” God, “have never been an atheist”.
(e) Atheism is harmful. Do you know believing in God heals substance abuse patients faster? Substance abuse includes addiction to drugs, alcohol etc. I’m not making this up. Here is a study which shows that belief in God works better than medicine and intervention. Can you imagine? Religious people heal more effectively. What would happen if most people become atheists? Wouldn’t it affect the whole population?
Scientists “believe” in things now, without seeing or proving it exists. I don’t know what to say to them. I guess “Welcome to the club!”
