I am in negative bank account stress. I have my meds for the next month but still would enjoy help with food and girly needs.

Just landed from home.social. Not the best at profiles or intros but here goes my #introduction :
Where am I: Trapped on an island, next to Europe, where stupid people won their vote to become insignificant, have rivers poisoned, get ripped off by the government and other bad stuff.
Trying to wrap my head around being creative but with a long, fluctuating burnout it’s feeling impossible but I’m not giving up just yet. Just let me find a box large enough and strong enough to hold that burnout, depression and other nasties at bay and we’ll start the party.
Most of the time I think I'm familiar enough with myself that, when I discover something new or find the correct (or at least, better) interpretation / explanation of something I didn't know or thought I understood, it can either make me confused, really happy or both at the same time.
Somehow it's been through reading, listening to others on topics about or related to my personal discoveries as well as talking with friends about those topics that have probably helped the most when it comes to figuring things out about myself.
I don't have the confidence to share much of anything yet but I'm hoping that I can learn how to share and how to find or grow my confidence whilst I'm here.

I said *three months ago* that 16's friend definitely LIKED him liked him and nobody believed me.
Then a few weeks ago there was a movie-at-our-house "date", an escort home and a mysterious "gift from a friend" necklace.
Today we walked in to find friend's legs draped over 16.
I totally called it.
(What I don't know what to call is an early #nonbinary relationship between kids. "Partner" or "SO" seem a little permanent for 16s in the first two weeks.

Happy pride month, and happy T-versary to me! A year ago today, I applied testosterone gel for the first time, and it's changed my life. 365 days of running on the correct chemicals after a lifetime of feeling vaguely wrong. I have since upped my dose twice because my voice just won't drop. But it might be finally moving now. We'll see. 🤞🏻 I've had plenty of other changes. My hips are melting away, and I think my face changed a little. I've got hairier arms, and hairy af thighs. 😆 Also some smol fine hairs on my belly. I don't mind any of them, I quite like them, in fact. I have somewhat inhibited facial hair growth with Finasteride, and what little that does grow I shave off.

What I really love about Turkish as a language is that it is completely non-gendered.
This morning while in bed with #LoveOfMyLife there was this moment I really wanted to call her “My Lioness” in Turkish (when we use pet names for each other, we only use Turkish for it; everything else is German 😳).
Well, anyway, this was the moment I realized I had to say “dişi aslanım” (“dişi”: female; “aslan”: lion; “aslanım”: my lion).
So, yeah, you really have to put a gender-adjective in front of a noun if you specifically mean a male or female version of a noun. The default is non-gendered - always.*
