A run in husband’s 1930s vintage Humber #today led us to an old Welsh church. The sign says the church is open, but only in the sense the door isn’t locked so anyone can wander in and out. There’s no living congregation. Car and church have been consigned by modern science to the past, and their beauty is enjoyed by just a few devoted enthusiasts.

My 20 year old #Prius
is in the shop today.

It freaked us out by throwing the warning-triangle and "Car with exclamation point/Problem" display on the screen this morning. We'd never seen that one before.

It did it for my husband, then it did it for me. Then, after I'd called to arrange service, it stopped. All the displays came up perfectly innocent, like, "Who, me? Did I say there was a horrible urgent issue? No way!" 😑

It's almost due for its next oil-change, so hopefully it's just being a bit cranky.😏

Almost March - & for me, being married to a #VintageCar enthusiast, that means the start of trips out in his 1934 Humber Twelve. So here’s what it’s like to travel 1930’s style - one of our drives last summer through North Wales. This model is called ‘the Vogue’, because of its #artdeco body styling. Dark clouds overshadow the future of vintage-car motoring (like that of all combustion-engine vehicles).

The video begins seeing the 1930’s style wooden dash, with driver’s foot below on pedal. The camera then lifts to show the windscreen and the road ahead as we travel.
