The answer to the outstanding #NameThatCar challenge is a car that I like the look of, but have never really desired, despite owning its siblings! I would like to drive one sometime! The image with its odd vents made a few folks to think "rear-engined" whereas it is in fact Triumph's pocket homage to the E-Type, the #Triumph #GT6 MKIII. The vents are either cabin air or just decoration!
Well done if you got it right!

Image 2 is an early NSU Prinz, the German for Prince.
This leaves the most difficult one, image 3. A Canadian Monach Richelieu! Yes I couldn't think of a car with King in the name!

For today's #WeirdCarMastodon #NameThatCar challenge we have something that is more international, definitely not British, and certainly more widely recognisable than yesterday's Scimitar.
Can you name it from this image of a single headlamp?

For today's #WeirdCarMastodon #NameThatCar challenge here is something of a fixer upper!
This "car" lives the other end of town from me, sadly it doesn't look like much has happened to it in recent years.
Can you name it from this image of where the headlamp should be?
Reasonable popular in the UK, one of the Royal Family had one, not sure how many made it to other parts of the world.
#ClassicCars #ClassicCarsOfMastodon #OldTimerCars #OldTimersofMastodon #car

Front left hand corner of a black car in poor condition. The headlamp is missing as is the bumper. The car would have a dual headlamp if it was there.

I know @davidwilkins has just finished with Citroรซn but here is a DS Safari working hard for a living as a camera car.

So the answer to yesterdays slightly more than 50th #NameThatCar challenge was as many spotted a Land Rover Defender 110. It really was one and not two despite the colours looking different.
Also glad people continue to enjoy this daily challenge despite the absence of a prize!
With this "old school" #Defender already sought after, it's place in classic cardom seems assured.

Today my #WeirdCarMastodon friends we celebrate (belatedly) a #NameThatCar milestone with over 50 challenges have being made and answered since I started this as one off with an Avantime back in February. It has seen me through recovery from surgery, provided some fun moments and new connections, so my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has got involved.
To mark this milestone here are some panels, can you name the car?

As #WeirdCarMastodon did so well with yesterday's mystery car, here is another headlamp from a somewhat older car to identify.
A design classic in it's own way I suspect this will be more widely recognised that yesterday's Renault Avantime.
I was not involved in the launch of this but my family had a couple of these when I was a teenager.
