This is a joke based in reality. Some people think that bisexual folks have no discrimination and want to get it on with everyone. We still do have preferences and boundaries.
Then, imagine someone who is both bisexual and polyamorous at the same time. Wow! They *really* want to get it on with everything that moves, right? Nope. We still have preferences and boundaries.
Here's one concrete example that I think few among my followers will have an issue with. I don't want to get it on with: cops, members of the military, Republicans, TERFS, racists, etc.

Until #Pride in Aug I primarily ID'ed as #pansexual. That changed somewhere between reading Julia Shaw's "Bi - The Hidden Culture and Science of #Bisexuality" and explaining to some bigots in a weird interview that #bisexual means both homo and hetero, i.e. is non-binary, and no, there's not too many genders.
Since gender & its expression is so deeply personal, I no longer feel like differentiating between attraction to personality vs gender makes sense for me

Unsere Mission ist es, umfassende Aufklärung über Bi+ sexuelle Identitäten zu fördern und ein Mittel zur Informationsverbreitung zu schaffen.
Aus diesem Grund veranstalten wir einen interaktiven Online-Workshop, in dem wir gemeinsam einen ansprechenden und sachlichen Flyer über Bi+Sexualität gestalten werden.
Im Laufe der Jahre haben wir bereits die Grundlagen gelegt, indem wir bestehende Flyer analysiert und ein Konzept entwickelt haben. Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, dieses Konzept in die Tat umzusetzen. Gemeinsam werden wir den Inhalt des Flyers erarbeiten und sicherstellen, dass wichtige Aspekte der Bi+Sexualität angemessen vermittelt werden.
Der Workshop bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, in Gruppenarbeit Ideen auszutauschen, Konzepte zu entwickeln und letztendlich den Flyer zu gestalten. Dadurch fördern wir kreative Zusammenarbeit und verschiedene Perspektiven.

I've been absent here for a while. One of the reasons is I've really been pouring all my free time into leading the second #RiversidePRIDE in Southern California. We just held our Pride festival this past Sunday. I'm beyond elated and proud of what we've accomplished. We hit our target of bringing in over 4,000 attendees, doubling last year's attendance. We exceeded our goal of 100+ exhibitors by having 119 unique exhibitors on the floor. We had a line-up of 36 entertainers and speakers. The diversity of content and inclusion of many different segments of the community was amazing. It was overall a smashing success.
We are a 100% volunteer-powered organization, and we will use this joy and energy to sustain us and keep going! So grateful for all of our volunteers, sponsors, and supporters all around.

@ralf *bisexual fingerguns to also having had a turn of the century gay phase* I'm from #Montreal and I was more in French-language groups in that era, and we didn't see a lot of trans people. I think most groups here weren't equipped to be a supportive environment to trans folks then. Our local state of the #bisexual vs. #pansexual conversation that I witnessed was that some people preferred pan because it was more inclusive of nonbinary identities. It wasn't a dig at bi as a label, more of a conversation on the evolution of language. Progressive politics here tend to be 15-years behind the English conversation. So locality is a factor too in people's experiences. #Queer youth groups here have changed tremendously since.
@ralf Also, #pansexual is often seen as desire regardless of gender. Most pan people say gender isn’t a factor in their attractions. That’s different from most #bisexual people’s experience. It’s 60% of bi folks who have a gender preference. A lot of bi people too say desire feels different depending on the gender of the person, especially when they compare their attractions between #women and #men. And internalized #biphobia makes people doubt some of their desires because of that difference, when these are all valid desires. A lot of bi people don’t have a gender preference, and many use both pan and bi as words to describe their sexuality. But for most bi folks, their experiences are different from those of pan people.

I came out *for real* in Spring 2022. Prior to that, I was in a monogamous relationship with my ex-wife and I passed as straight. I knew I was pansexual, but I just went with the flow, and I have to say that it wasn't a struggle. However, with the marriage disintegrating, having survived cancer, and that cancer twiddling my brain in just the right way, I said "fuck that shit!"
So I got on the dating apps. Once upon a time, I was open to dating anyone and anything. However, I quickly discovered that men, generally speaking, are... let's say inconsiderate. I got a TON of stupid matches with men. At some point, I turned off everything but women, and trans women.
I've decided to widen my horizons again. I've now added non-binary folks to the mix.
Why did I wait???
Fear.
"You fucking asshole! They are not monsters."
I know that. I was not afraid *of them*. It was fear that I would end up disappointing them. You know all those years I was in my marriage? These are years during which I did not learn to be a queer. There's a hill I have to climb now.
I sometimes joke that my second-greatest fear is disappointing someone, and my first is disappointing someone in a romantic relationship. It is a joke in that I don't think it is useful to rank fears, but it is illustrative of the stuff going on in my mind.
I've been lucky that I've had a relationship with a trans girl earlier this year. There were a few rare moments where she
lectured me, and I just took it because I needed to learn. Alas, that did not last.
I'm about to be in a similar position again with my date tomorrow (a 31yo submissive baby boy). I may need lecturing... but I'll just listen. Truth be told, he already lectured me about something, but I listened.

I’ve been in the #FurryFandom since summer 2004, & can feel my hollow bones crumbling as I say that =P
I am a golden eagle gryphon with a red fox bottom half instead of feline - a mix that I call a gryphox!

I began on this journey in the fandom insisting I was a straight male human just having a little escapism fun… And have since found that I am none of that at all.
It took a relatively short time to show me that I am #pansexual, & I first started questioning my gender around 2016, which led to me realizing that I am #trans #nonbinary just days before 2019 ended. I took the careful route & began #HRT in October 2021. In mid to late 2022, I began to realize that some of the feelings I’ve had most of my life, & my current feelings even more blatantly, fit as #therian/ #otherkin. This was further confirmed when I experienced an awakening in February.
My #fursuit was made by fursuiting.com, & fursuit performance, thanks to my experience as a D-I college mascot, is the only directly furry skill I have to offer back to the fandom.
I work professionally in live & motion #broadcast #graphics. I love #birds & #birdwatching, & hope to grow with bird photography. I’ve unleashed the inner #pinball fiend I was as a kid & have become a bit of a fan all over again as an adult. I am learning & growing in the craft of #chainmaille jewelry, & hope to launch a side shop soon to keep me busy with #maille projects. Went to a pride fest today (the city I live in does it in July every year) and it was absurdly hot out. I overheat easily so despite having dressed in tiny short shorts and a crop top I felt like I was going to evaporate off the face of the earth within 2 minutes.
I saw a booth was selling oversized hand fans and bought an awesome nonbinary flag fan :nonbinary_heart:, but as soon as I did I realized I hadn’t thought about the fact I couldn't use it because I was using my rollator which meant I didn't have a free hand.
At that point my wonderful silly butch wife decided the only reasonable course of action was to just walk around pride with her fanning me with this dramatically large nonbinary fan. Multiple people looked at us with visible amusement because it was just so absurdly gay lmfao.
She said it was the butchest thing she's ever done, and as we were walking back to our car someone clearly heading to the pride fest yelled out "I need one of those... and not just the fan!" as they passed us.😆
It was great, 100/10 would do again.
