On monday, I was painting a bird. On tuesday, for whatever reason, I felt intrigued by patterns. So I figured out a workflow that suits me, and experimented a bit. Worked on a new #pyrography project today, having not finished the last 15 I’ve started. One day in a few months they’ll all get finished at the same time. That’s how it usually goes. Freehand on ash, a reclaimed off-cut from a furniture maker. The smell is lovely.
