Am #Sonntag, 1. Oktober, findet ab 15 Uhr das nächste öffentliche Treffen am ehemaligen #PostStellwerk (nähe Skateranlage) statt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Berichte und Einschätzungen zum Runden Tisch und die #Diskussion über die nächsten Schritte.
Es ist wahrscheinlich die letzte Sonntagsveranstaltung in diesem Jahr. Wir haben viel geschafft:
• Unser #Gutachten zur Entschädigungszahlung hat der politischen Diskussion neuen Schwung gegeben.
• Der Runde Tisch mit 250 Besucher:innen hat deutlich gemacht, dass die Berliner:innen die Urbane Mitte ablehnen.
• Unsere mobile Fahrrad-Ausstellung "Keine 90 m hohen Bürotürme" hat den Parkbesucher:innen die Planungen zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit zugänglich gemacht.
• Mehr Medien haben in diesem Jahr über die Fragwürdigkeit des Hochhausprojekts und den #Widerstand dagegen berichtet.
• Mit der #Unterschriftensammlung haben wir viele Unterstützer:innen erreicht.
• Wir haben eine Reihe von guten Aktionen und Veranstaltungen auf die Beine gestellt.
Heute sagen mehr Menschen denn je: Stopp Urbane Mitte - Für einen Neustart der Planungen!
Darum wollen wir am Sonntag bei Kaffee, Kuchen & vielleicht ein wenig Sekt auch feiern. Bitte Becher mitbringen.

Big Personal News: I have dropped off the #ballot #petition for my #SchoolBoard candidacy at school district HQ in #Boulder.
I finally figured out a great use for those vinyl bags they give out at #Defcon - they perfectly fit the legal-sized bundles.
I was required to obtain 50 signatures in order to qualify for the ballot. I received 104 signatures in total. I'm extremely grateful for the strong support I've received in Boulder County and across the district.
Once the signatures are validated, I will officially be a candidate!
