The viewer looks out over the Rhine to France in the late afternoon in November. A cloudy sky with a few gaps, but the sun is still able to cast a magical light over the river. The light and the intense blue of the gaps in the clouds are reminiscent of last summer, while the river, stirred up by the autumn wind, adds to the atmosphere. Erinnerung an einen wunderschönen Urlaubstag im vergangenen Oktober. Mit dem Fahrrad quer durch die eigene Region zwischen Kaiserstuhl und Schwarzwald. Der Betrachtende sieht einen geteerten schmalen Landwirtschaftweg welcher sich einen kleine Hügel empor windet. Rechts und links des Weges sind grüne und gelbe Felder. Einzelne Bäume stehen am Weg bis zum Hügelende. Dort erstreckt sich in einiger Entfernung der südliche Schwarzwald mit dem Schauinslandmassiv und dem Belchen. Über allem erstreckt sich sein strahlend blauer Himmel. Memories of a wonderful vacation day last October. Cycling through my own region between Kaiserstuhl and the Black Forest.
