Właśnie zauważyłem, że we władzach Polskiej Grupy Użytkowników #Linux'a w obecnej kadencji znalazła się #kobieta. Nie we władzach statutowych, co prawda, ale w Sądzie Koleżeńskim.
To duże wydarzenie. Może i jest to jedna kobieta na 12 facetów, ale ostatnio coś takiego zdarzyło się gdzieś z dekadę temu — żadnej #kobiety we władzach #PLUG nie było od 2016 roku, kiedy organizacja pierwszy raz wybrała do władz 15 facetów.
Nie jestem i nie byłem członkiem PLUG, więc nie jestem w stanie wiele o tym powiedzieć — może @rysiek (który był w tym czasie, zdaje się, w jego Zarządzie) pamięta, jaki był wtedy w stowarzyszeniu poziom refleksji na ten temat.
Nie zawsze było aż tak źle. Pokolenie temu, w kadencji 2005-8, kobiety w liczbie 6 osób stanowiły 1/3 władz. Od tego momentu zaczął się spadek — choć jeszcze w kolejnej kadencji były 2 kobiety w 6-osobowym zarządzie.
To nie był przejaw braku zainteresowania kobiet — ten sam okres był czasem dynamicznego rozwoju kobiecych organizacji wokół technologii, nauki programowania itp. Ale wszystkie te kobiety nauczyły się omijać szerokim łukiem środowisko linuksiarzy.
Czy ta jedna kobieta to sygnał, że coś się środowiskowo zmienia, czy to raczej outlier? Pożyjemy, zobaczymy.
Zachowuję rezerwę, bo poza tym sygnałem nie widzę, żeby ten backlash ustępował — mam raczej poczucie, że kultura casualowej mizoginii ma się świetnie i wręcz rozkwita na nowo, w nieco tylko zmienionych didaskaliach i nieco tylko mniej wprost wyrażana, choćby w tym naszym światku mastodonowym. Ale może się mylę, i chętnie bym się mylił.

Recent session I did. The original pieces are me playing to a #drone the drone is removed from the recording, and then re-added by collaborators - drift of signifieds, Rackets and Greta Pistaceci.
It's #improvised and in this case that means #melodic and #modal settings. Lots of borrowings from #maqqam and #meend type business, all very un-orthodoxly.
I'm quite pleased with this - don't know how many if anyone reading are familiar with my music but this is a bit of a turned corner from me into something that, I hope, is more palatable than the kind of #freeImprov realms I've been in before.
