That is, all Solar System bodies in #hydrostatic equilibrium should be labelled planets, regardless of what they orbit.

Started watching #Pluto on netflix tonite; the most advanced robots around the world, as well as key figures in the struggle for the rights of robots and AI, are being dispatched by a mysterious organization- or entity. Protagonist Gesicht, one of these robots and a world-class detective, must solve these murders as the clock ticks- while struggling with what it really means to be human, or not. Don’t let it being an #anime scare you; it’s got fantastic production quality and really beautiful animation. It is somewhat violent at times, but it doesn’t feel gratuitous or glorified- rather the opposite, really. Based solely on the first episode, I would recommend you catch this one for sure. #review

So I just finished #Pluto on Netflix, and I have to say it really moved me. There isn't much left under the sun that's new in #scifi but Pluto takes a really nuanced and moving deep dive into the deeply worn subject of machine intelligence or #ai (not the crap we're currently calling AI).
Great art, great sound track, great story. I got lured in by the #cyberpunk tag, and I'm not sure it contained many of the elements I look for in that genre, what do you all think?

Ça y est l'animé #Pluto est sorti sur #Netflix ! En 8 épisodes d'une heure, c'est une adaptation du manga éponyme de Naoki Urasawa, lui-même inspiré de l'histoire d'Astro Boy "Le robot le plus fort du monde" d'Osamu Tezuka.
J'ai regardé le premier épisode et ça démarre vraiment très bien, on retrouve le style graphique particulier de l'auteur (presque comme de la BD européenne) et la réalisation est superbe. L'histoire devrait être très fidèle au manga, j'ai hâte de voir la suite !
