Watching videos on YouTube about how to stop using filler works when I #podcast. The biggest tip seems to be slowing down and being okay with having silence in place of filler words.
That makes sense since even if you have to remove silence that’s the easiest edit in the world.
One tip I liked was to practice saying “period” wherever you would put a filler word, first aloud then in your head to empasize a stopping point.

I’ve managed to get my little #podcast recording booth sounding acoustically dead. I still have to experiment to make sure there is no weird stuff going on at lower frequencies that will make things sound weird, but I’m optimistic.
For me, when I learned I was autistic, it finally all made sense. I'm fitting the pieces together with a VERY late in life diagnosis.
