We have a small stream of water that runs through our property on its way to the brook. It’s a great spot for a #trailcam. This past summer I began to see footage of this one #porcupine that REALLY didn’t like having to cross this tiny width of water.

I got a new camera and went away for the weekend. I was walking around because my mom suggested I take a picture of the sunset. As I was walking closer to get a better view, I heard something... It sounded like a rodent, and I knew there were groundhogs nearby, so I followed it. Turns out, it was a young porcupine! #CanonR7 with 24-105 f4, turned out to be more like 168mm with the cropped sensor, so that's still pretty close. #porcupine #photography #wildlifephotgraphy

We went to out to the Camas National Wildlife Refuge (near Hamer, Idaho) this evening and saw five of these porcupines waddling around eating off the ground. I watched and photographed this one for awhile. Apparently, it had enough.
