"Alien vs Predator." Two titans of monster scifi could've gone together like peanut butter and chocolate, and they did just that for years in classic Dark Horse Comics stories. The cinematic outing was so widely anticipated...and it turned out to be a total turd. Then they made a sequel which was arguably worse! Neither franchise has really recovered from this, with the exception of "Prey," and now they're sadly under Mickey Mouse's thumb.

Da mir bisher kein einziger #Predator-Film gefallen hat, habe ich mir #Prey nur angesehen, um die Filmreihe vollständig gesehen zu haben, aber ich bin sehr überrascht, dass mir der Film, trotz der an sich identischen Handlung, sehr gut gefallen hat. Das andere Setting, der stete Fokus auf das Vorankommen der Geschichte und die schauspielerische Leistung der Hauptdarstellerin haben es möglich gemacht. Der Film ist momentan auf Disney+ und Hulu zu sehen. 👍

If you have not seen Prey on #Hulu then you are missing one the best #ScienceFiction movie in 2022 ever!
What I loved about this movie was the fact it pitted an inexperienced Predator Alien with scaled down (albeit high tech by our standards) weapons against the #Comanche nation (a Native American Tribe in North America) & encroaching settlers from #France 🇫🇷 in the 1700’s.
There was a lot of suspense during this #SciFi flick (as well as a lot of gore) & as a bonus, Hulu provides the movie in English & native Comanche.
