As a #productmanager I sometimes get feelings of "the grass is greener" and begin to envy my #engineering counterparts, who I imagine have it simpler, having fewer meetings, less #officepolitics, less #stakeholder bullshit, and more "heads down work." Moreover, they get the satisfaction of actually #building things and objective feedback.
But then I remember I am good at my job and #dev is really hard.
I'm curious: do #softwareengineer feel the same thing, in reverse?
The next product I launch I will invest a lot in UX/UI, the first person to be hired will be a product designer
It's annoying to use a product with a bad user experience and unfriendly interfaces

What it feels like as a #UX Designer working with #ProductManager who are also CEOs:
1. PM thinks the product should look a certain way before it is even defined.
2. UXer goes to research, ideate, and iterate for a month.
3. UXer discusses and presents their observations and solutions at every step to align.
4. PM settles on their original "vision", despite research points other way.
5. Product goes thru months of engineering, fails to gain traction. PM asks UXer to make it look better.
