Progress has released software updates to address eight vulnerabilities in its WS_FTP Server software that could lead to remote code execution. Vulnerabilities include deserialization, directory traversal, XSS, SQL injection, CSRF and authentication bypass. WS_FTP Server versions before 8.7.4 and 8.8.2 are affected. Users are advised to update ASAP.

#Progress means nothing without maintenance. At worst, it can be like the advancing front of a bush fire: only going forwards leaving devastation in its wake. Things which are done can usually be undone. Bankrupt ideologies (like nazism) can come back if you don't maintain knowledge about why it was bad in successive generations.

Crazy to think it’s been over a month since I moved across the country. It’s been a weird transition, but I’ve been making a lot of #progress here. Got two new part time jobs which makes me excited, since they’ll give me the opportunity to travel more.
