Just checked System Preferences -> Screen Saver and got this, followed by a completely empty Screen Saver panel in prefs. I can't even pick one of the standard macOS savers, there's nothing there.

• General disregard for the quality of the product
• Profit motive
• Removal of engineers from decision-making process

**Question: Can an #artificial #intelligence #chatbot assistant, provide responses to #patient #questions that are of comparable #quality and #empathy to those written by #physicians?

**Findings: In this cross-sectional study of 195 randomly drawn patient questions from a social media forum, a team of licensed health care professionals compared physician’s and chatbot’s responses to patient’s questions asked publicly on a public social media forum. The chatbot responses were preferred over physician responses and #rated significantly #higher for both #quality and #empathy.

Over the last decade or so I have been changing my buying habits for many things. I used to be very much of the "buy the minimum to get by, at the cheapest price" school, but I found I ended up re-buying things that broke, or which weren't entirely suited to purpose, or which my needs outgrew. Ended up more expensive and worse for the environment.

I have to say I'm happier now, buying better things to start with (when I can).
