Remembered I had this pocket pillow and decided a matching pocket stocking would make a cute set

The Vanilla House pattern for the long stocking was easy to follow. Five stars; highly recommend.

I did make one small change by adding fusible batting. So it’s not technically quilted (the pockets would have covered all my hard work stitching) but it does have 3 layers to help keep its shape

OMG I am so done with this #quilt. I consider it a flaw (& I suspect other people do, too) that the 'fun/exciting' part of quilting - the planning & piecing - comes at the beginning of the project, and the 'tedious/boring' part - backing & binding - comes at the end.

I made the binding for this #quilt out of leftover/cut off backing fabric. Because it’s a small quilt, I used an old sheet for the backing (already washed, also soft). However, I don’t know if I’ll use sheet for my binding again - it’s nigh impossible to keep on grain (I gave up trying to keep it there) and it’s so soft it didn’t want to be cut straight either.

A spider web quilt table topper. No pattern, no tutorial - all just by eyeball. I wanted the edge wonky and I got my wish. I am quite pleased as my first quilt was in January and I feel like I am getting to a place where I might someday create things close to my how I picture them.
