Changed the ORPort of the relay to 443. The DIRPort was already on 80 so my #raspberrypi with #tor-relay looks on the surface like a webserver. Port 80 even serves a http page :)
Today I get one of my most needed piece of equipment. I can't afford an oscilloscope - a case of not thinking it's going to get enough use to merit the expense. Thus I bought a frequency counter but as a kit. That makes it cheaper and shouldn't take me too long to solder together.
That is - if the roaming mail thieves don't get to the mailbox before I do.
Basically I want to be able to time the pulses on a pulse generator I'm going to build. Using the pulse generator and a Raspberry Pi (which will count the pulses), I'll be able to work out if the Raspberry Pi Pico is suitable to control a microflash that I plan to build.
With that microflash I should be able to do better than this pic... It's a playing card being cut in two by an airgun pellet.

Das alte und neue Grafana Dashboard läuft schon mal wieder für das Smartmetering. Mein USB-Stick für die Datenbank ist mir kaputt gegangen und konnte Grafana nicht mehr zum laufen bringen mit Raspberry Debian Stretch.
Jetzt läuft das ganze schon mal in Teilen auf Raspberry Debian Bullseye und die ganzen Pythonscripte laufen auch noch.

Hat sich eigentlich schon jemand ein #beagleplay gekauft. Scheint mir eine gute Alternative zu #raspberrypi zu sein. Ich denke der TI Sitara AM625 ist gekommen um zu bleiben.

I saw a thread on HN about #RaspberryPi gadget mode. Has anyone gotten it to work lately. I've tried more than once today and no luck.
I believe I'm following all the steps. I'm modifying config.txt and cmdline.txt as instructed, and I'm plugging in the micro-usb cable to the correct port.
I keep finding stupid new uses for my #PinePhonePro. Today: a wireless USB serial monitor for my #3DPrinter, to debug sketchy TMC drivers, as I clearly can't get my hands on a #raspberrypi for #octoprint.

Been tinkering with my #RaspberryPi 4 trying to get KDE Plasma BigScreen going on it. Couldn’t get a #Manjaro image with it installed past the initial wizard (asks to select a user, but no users exist).
Also tried Kubuntu (which I had to install by way of server 20.04, then desktopify to Kubuntu, then upgrade, but innevitably BigScreen install failed). But have this attempt in a decent state.
Decided to switch to my 400gb microsd for further Manjaro attempts, but the write speeds are soo slow.

birdradio: not really a radio, not just for birds. Raspberry Pi 3 with Pisound card and power bank; Wildtronics stereo PIP mic; bird feeder pole+base. Serves audio stream on the local network. Software: darkice+icecast2.
Main intention is to run this in the winter when the windows are closed and we can't hear the ambient sound of the outside world.
You might think of it as field recording as a continuous ephemeral stream.

@dahukanna Yeah I use #yunohost. It is super simple to setup and to maintain. It also allows you to self host a bunch of other software. As for hardware I have a #raspberrypi 4 8gb in an aluminium case with active cooling

For what it’s worth, spawning a 2nd #sidekiq container (and setting DB_POOL=10) and letting it run for a few hours took care of all the delay. I now see posts from “a second ago” again. All this on a #raspberrypi
Can see Sidekiq-1 has a massive increase in CPU usage.
I've now spawned a second #Sidekiq container (running two in total). Let's see if that helps to get the task queue down, so I don't see 6 hours old posts...

Some decorative radiator grill pre cut MDF and some laser cut acrylic inserts and a sheet of acrylic/glass to provide a smooth surface? I started a #GoToSocial installation on Raspberry Pi. Still working on it. I finished the #PostgreSQL setup, and I'm thinking of adding a drive to store the other data. This is on #Raspberrypi. The database is on a separate Pi.
I wish I could make cool things with #RaspberryPi - the idea of it appeals so much more than the reality of my skills, imagination, finances and available time.
