Anywho, here's something I wrapped up yesterday! Redrew an old pic real "quick" to figure out how these characters look now vs then.
Alabama goes too far (again) — even for Trump-nominated judges
The judges — U.S. District Judges Anna M. Manasco and Terry F. Moorer of Alabama — joined this week with a Clinton nominee, Stanley Marcus of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, in a remarkable rebuke of Alabama’s failure to comply with an order to #redraw its #congressional #maps to give Black voters a better chance to elect candidates of their choice.
Of course, there is a less rosy take on this still-unfolding story: Massive resistance to civil rights remains alive and well in Alabama, so much so that even Trump judges felt compelled to slam the state for its recalcitrance in the face of a loss at the Supreme Court.
Both interpretations are accurate.
It seems odd to praise the Trump judges for simply doing their jobs and following the law. But given the performance of so many of their colleagues, and given the outrageous response of the Alabama legislature to a judicial order, talking about the glass half-full feels appropriate.

I made a simple game in middle school, this was the final boss. Finally redrew it all these years later.
Back in 2019, right after Bronycon. I made a drawing inspired by one of Shuxer's
figurines.
Today, after more or less 4 years, I decided to remake said drawing! I'm super satisfyed, speak about progress, what do you think? I think I improved quite a lot, this is quite refreshing!

Whenever I need some motivation, a little redraw is a great way to visualize what I've learned over the years.
So- I do a lot of redraws. It helps me get in touch with things I used to draw as a kid. Also, I was a lot more experimental when I was little- so it never hurts to redraw a piece usually out of my comfort zone.

here's an 11-year #redraw! i remember a) spending a lot of time getting them just right and b) being really happy with them back then... but over the years, the more i looked, the more i saw the faults.
today i finally redrew them. it took under an hour and looks way better in anatomy, pose, and facial expression. even though both are rough sketches, today's is cleaner and more confident. didn't bother too much with the hands though xD
