Что же, после всех этих экспериментов с финальными рендерами "Зелёная Студия" решила попробовать поэкспериментировать с чем-то более утилитарным для её повседневных творческих задач и сделала ещё 15 рендеров, но уже на основе "интерактивного рендеринга" (то есть, рендера на основе вычислений видеокарты, происходящего в реальном времени в окне сцены, а не просчитанного в файл в Центральном Процессоре). Здесь 5 интерактивных рендеров с моделью мужчины, 5 - женщины, и 5 - с различными интерьерами и экстерьерами от компании DAZ3D, скриншоты с которыми были сделаны в DAZ Studio. Как вы видите, ну, и зачем что-то рендерить в D|S и затем фильтровать в PhotoShop, если можно кинуть всё в специальный сайт - и он тебе неплохо всё за минуты отрендерит, как будто неделю просчитывал?! In a productive coding-on-the-train session I wrote a #Python-only renderer for SDFs (signed distance functions). SDFs are defined with #SymPy which brings the immense advantage of having it derive an analytical solution for the surface normals needed for shading.

What you see below is a first result of a rendered sphere pierced by three infinite cylinders of different diameters.

All that has a lot of postprocessing applied, including scanlines, and it has very carefully picked amounts of noise. The sun has a bloom colored different from it itself, and it also has very aggressive chromatic abberation. The entire render has slight chromatic abberation as well.

In a SciFi render group where I'm a member someone complained about "too many Star Trek renders". Well, I felt the urge to do something about it and slapped this together. :)

I spoke at #BCon22 last year, introducing a way to #render #interference (aka #iridescence ) with #Blender3D and #cycles

Interference can occur when light passes thin layers, and it can radically change the color of the reflection. Possibly the best example is a soap bubble, but also heating of iron and aging of copper is described well by interference (see examples).

Any render.com users out there? #Render I’m trying to set up a blueprint project for the first time, but render.com keeps logging me out - it’s almost as if they have some faulty JS on their site - close to giving up!

Every fiber of my body - generative art project created with Blender Geometry Nodes. For the head I used a 3D Model from MakeHuman. The seeds of the fibers are distributed randomly over the face and afterwards displaced by a musgrave texture.

Hmmm my render.com service (simple express server with auth) is working fine from my personal laptop (GET, POST) and most routes are working from my work laptop but I'm getting a CORS error for a PUT on the work laptop? I thought I had cors configured correctly. The OPTIONS request is 204, but the PUT 403s. The origin header looks correct.

Any witches/wizards/warlocks out there have any ideas?

I know there’s a lot of chatter around the #TwitterMigration but is anyone else also engaged in the #HerokuMigration ? I had a ton of projects over there in hobby dynos with hobby postgres and after November those hobby dynos are going the way of the bird verification badge. I’ve migrated to resources like Render and Railway and have been really pleased with the “mostly” painless transition. Anyone else moving projects? Or am I the lone abuser of free dynos?
