We've asked #MontereyCounty Health Department & Transportation Agency for #Monterey County to team up on getting word out to #HealthCare providers in the county that TAMC has free bike racks, lockers & repair stations. Often we've biked to a PT appt, etc. only to find nowhere to lock our bike.
Hartnell Professional Center, Monterey (which houses #Community Hospital of the #MontereyPeninsula / #CHOMP #PhysicalTherapy & other medical offices) DOES have a bike rack. They also have picnic tables, benches, shade trees. :)

Still recovering from being sick.
I managed to get some rice and beans cooked, so that gives me at least 3 days of lunches.
I haven't played any #ESO or #mechwarrioronline this evening. I have Florence+The Machine's "Never Let Me Go" on loop.
I find myself in a new headspace lately. I don't have to be "adulting" all the time. Sometimes just actually resting - like laying down and putting up my feet - is being "productive". I'm 56, and not in good shape. I can't push myself the way I used to. I need to listen to my body.
I hope you are all listening to your bodies and giving yourself some real rest. No doomscrolling. Maybe even turning off your phone for a bit. We have to give our minds some rest as well.

This is why I made sure to be ahead of schedule. My head really wants me to full-steam-ahead right now but there's a big part of me that needs to take a breath and a break.
It will all be done in time.

I try to keep my sleep schedule as regular as possible, but even that doesn’t always hold. Tomorrow I’m doing the second day of a two-day meeting that I’m attending remotely. It starts at 04:30. It’s going to take me a few days to recover from this.

I get it if you're emulating a desktop app like a spreadsheet or word processor, but otherwise, why make things so hard on yourself?

@shanselman that's until you need to handle retries for failed requests, and other cross cutting concerns, implement multiple models, serialization... I usually like having the machine work for me when I can.
