Pietruszka is *very* scared. She easily climbed those stairs outside a neighbours' house, but the only stairs she knows and has ever walked, at our house, have different parameters, such as step rise, tread depth, and so on. This is the moment she realized she's not in Kansas anymore.

On my way to visit a coffee plantation I passed through the remote small town of Montenegro and was surprised to see that there is photo studio; something I'd expect in a more urban setting. Infrastructure in Colombia is poor - fly city to city then ride a donkey to town. While it's not as bad as that, these small town businesses have a #monopoly because of the #isolation.

Looking for birds in the bush I found this instead. The truck has seen better times, has probably been sitting here since the early days of this town (built in the late 50ies in the middle of the forests).

Surrounded by small trees is the wreck of an old truck, seen from the front. There's no roof, the window glass is all but broken away, the doors are wide open, a large gaping hole in the front. Over the decades leaves have accumulated up to the lower edge of the door frames.
