1. What worked elsewhere may not work here.
2. One size doesn't fit all.
3. We can't ignore organizational culture.
4. Adhering too closely to an Agile scaling framework can make an organization LESS adaptable, not more. (Zombie #Scrum, anyone?)
5. Lasting change depends on employee engagement.

Every time I hear about the #rescue efforts in #syria and #turkiye I wish that I already had my #CNA so I could go and #volunteer and be helpful.
Then I remember, I am #transgender. So, I search on if it is #safe to #travel to find places like Türkiye and Syria for people like me.
Then it hits me, I have to search on this bullshit before traveling anywhere, even in my own #country! Because I am #trans!
I can’t stop being trans, so hopefully others can change to be more accepting.

The #Fediverse has not been #optimized. There is no board driving us to increase #engagement, no matter what kind. As #admin we have some metrics but what we are really fighting for are #Spaces where people can find #connection and maybe some #meaning; people feel #safe and #respected; #creativity #imagination and #humor can flourish. Working for The Man in #tech, he always told us we were making a better world. What we are all making here together is one of the few times that is true.

3/ imho, #liberals often laugh at the closemindedness of their #conservative opponents, but in my experience living in both circles the #hubris is rank across the spectrum...and even writing this I feel the whisper in my ear, "Are you simply speaking from your own hubris?"
So this is my (hopefully) humble plea for an environment that is #safe but also #open.
