Well, that f*cking sailboat that I didn't blow past stopped dead in front of me and then waved me around to their starboard side. I had no choice but to go there and, of course, I ended up grounded. So now I'm stuck in the sand within sight of the marina and those shitheads just passed, laughing their asses off at me. Needless to say, my opinion of sailors has gone down considerably and next time I will blow past them. #sailing

They say "a boat is a hole in the water you fill with money". For a 40 year old boat, that's true - something always breaks.
Sailboats are a little different - they are also filled with dreams.
Having grown up around boats my expectations are low. But it's nice to think about anchoring out in the river and watching the sun set. Maybe I do it 3 times a year. Mostly it just sits there, costing money. But I think about it a lot. #sailing
I used to live in a little cabin with a view of the ocean so I often got to see sailboats sailing around the bay. You could never get tired of that view!

One thing I want to paint a LOT more of is sailing ships.
