Nachdem meine #Liberty3pro in der Waschmaschine gestorben sind, hab ich jetzt #GalaxyBuds2
Sind schon besser als die Liberty. Halten besser im Ohr. Bei den Liberty bin ich nie richtig mit dem halt zufrieden gewesen. Bei den buds nervt nur ein was: wieso zum Henker kann man die Gesten nicht individuell belegen. Ich hätte gerne Transparenz Umschaltung und leise/laut gleichzeitig. Geht aber nicht. 🙄 Das war bei den Liberty echt besser gelöst.

Well, so far so good, I'm back on my phone, or more specifically DeX. There hasn't been a good reason for me not to be here, I mean I do have some proofreading/prereading to do for @sfwrtr , but I could've come back a while ago. I got a new base/stand for my #samsung Galaxy Fold, and it appears to be working well. I'd previously gotten one off Amazon, and that one would lose the monitor connection within an hour of use. This one I got from AliExpress for about the same price, <1/2>

How was/is it for you? Was it mainly connecting to #4G or #5G ?

Any other experience comments welcomed please.

When you change the settings so the power button doesn't act as the #Bixby button, it just shows you instructions on how to turn off the tablet instead of actually turning it off.

One if the ways is through the notification pull-down. For my mum, it's the hardest thing to do, because she's struggling with remembering and performing the swipe gestures a little.

Anyways, there is a power icon there, but it was covered by the stupid "N" symbol #Samsung puts everywhere. Fuck you Samsung! 🤬

WTF?! My 71 year old mother just called me, because her #Samsung #Tablet has no internet connection. I told her to reboot it, but she said it won't let her. Turns out Samsung decided to make the power button dedicated to the #Bixby assistant. They want her to tell Bixby "Please turn off the tablet". But remember how I said the tablet has got no internet? :)

I'm so pissed right now. My mum was so proud that she learnt how to restart her devices on her own, and now this shit.

I spent hours taking photos and pixel peeping to compare the cameras on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro. Both can take good shots. There's no clear winner, but there are many points where one or the other does better.

Two takeaways: iPhone 3x telephoto limit is weaksauce & Samsung overprocessing makes me wince.

Diablo Immortal has some of the most beautiful loading screen art I've ever seen in a game. The other Diablo games do too in some ways, but these are just BEAUTIFUL.

Also, the game is free to play, which is cool, and it doesn't have in-game ads or anything. I feel like it's the most fun, immersive mobile rpg I've ever played. You'll need a strong phone to run it, though. It's big and resource heavy. I have a new Samsung S21, these are screenshots from that. My old Samsung S7 could NEVER have run this properly.

I had to switch back to the iPhone. I couldn't access my voicemails on my Samsung phone, no matter what I tried. Made sure the permisions on both Google Phone and Samsung's voicemail app were all enabled, tried clicking the VZW (verizon) link from the 90008000 number sends me when I get a new Voicemail but the Voicemails aren't set up, but that didn't work. Tried calling the voicemail number. Tried resetting network settings. Restarting the phone several times. And then I swapped the SIM card to the iPhone, clicked the link for the voicemail, and it works. Right away. No restart or reset needed. *sigh*
