22 years ago I wrote a synopsis and ended up selling to a producer with a binding NDA.
4 years ago, the scriptwriter assigned got in touch with me to discuss their development and just listening to their ideas got me so excited.
It's filmed, and I'm mega-chuffed by the first article I've seen written about it. I have no regrets about selling it ghost because that money came in handy when we needed it.
Ideas aren’t special. When stripped to its most basic components, what premise doesn’t sound like a cliché?
Try not to think. Relax. Don’t chase the words down. Let them come to you. By default, they will be the most pure expression of you in that moment.

- I want to get more into #screenwriting in general, I've got one #screenplay finished, one great draft I want to start, two different TV shows, and all the time in the world. Someday I'll get back around to that project...
- I've recently come to know myself as #nonbinary #agender, which I've come to realize is one of the more confusing #genders to associate with? I'm also a #naturist, meaning the two values of "dress however you want to express yourself" and "expressing yourself without clothing is the best" are sure to conflict in interesting ways! Good thing I'm still basically closeted in both.
- Like most of us, I'm sitting on the idea of spinning up my own #fedi instance, in addition to a few other #OpenSource services to host for a like-minded club I want to form someday. That brings out the techie side in me, which I'll also engage in frequently.

It took me a long, long time to learn how to give and to take creative notes. There should be a required class on this subject taught by experts! It would have saved me a lot of grief, and it would have made me a lot more likable in my chosen career! Or at least less UN-likable!
(And, to be sure, goodness knows there are people out there you absolutely would NOT want teaching such a class!!!)

I'm watching a scene where the hero, who was recently injured, has checked himself out of hospital. He is clearly exhausted but he's pushing himself forward. The story presents this behaviour as heroic and admirable.
I'm over it.
Promoting reckless behavior regarding health, particularly in men, has always been harmful. In the pandemic, people need the message that rest when fatigued is the "heroic" thing to do.
I want more stories where people rest.
