It helps biologists explore network based clusters of genomic alterations (mutations/copy number).

It uses some outdated packages such as {ggvis} for tooltips, but still runs on shinyapps.io.

Just don't ask me to redploy it.

Just found a sweet piece of hematite by the train tracks. Nearly pure, very shiny. I thought it was a spraypainted piece of granite at first, that pure. About 2.5", surprisingly light.

Dates are no fun in #rstats I had hit several walls trying to sort date strings in a #shiny app with the {DT} package. Didn’t want to end the day on a low so I powered through and finally cracked it!!!!! Looks so minor and intuitive but huge step for me 🥹 good night folks 💤

Years ago when I was a baby data scientist I attended my first DS conference CascadiaRConf. I was in absolute awe of the strength of this community and was hooked right away.

A bit more background: the html files are supposed to show up as small popup windows (like ID cards of sorts) in other apps (#shiny, #javascript) hosted by the same project, but also as standalone representations of the respective "person" ressource in a LOD scenario...

I sure wish I could use #LangChain in R! Trying to learn React to make a simple Node app with LangChain for JavaScript makes me appreciate how much Shiny takes care of under the hood for me.

I couldn't find a documented way to make a button to expand all/collapse all rowGroups of a DT::datatable (either in #rstats or more generally in JS) in #shiny so here's my solution: https://gist.github.com/jonocarroll/6de8d5b4b7dbe33001820ba1939ebac0

I've also added in the row counts and totals per rowGroup, but I believe those are better documented.

YMMV - this will probably have issues if you have more than one table or other hidden elements, but it works for the small use-case I have.
