However, #lake #effect along the #SouthShore could lead to 3 to 7 inches of snowfall. There is a concern that this could impact the Tuesday morning #commute.

Meanwhile, the #Northland will finally get its first widespread #snow effect of the season.

The good news for most of us is that it will be #light and #scattered snow #showers Monday afternoon through early Tuesday morning. #Snowfall totals will be up to 2-inches.

The one exception is the South Shore Snowbelt. #LakeEffect will increase totals to 2 to 5 inches in Iron County, and around 4 to 8 inches in the western tip of the #UpperPeninsula.

Snowfall totals across the Northland through the morning of Tuesday, October 31, 2023 will be up to 2 inches for most of the region. The exception will be in the South Shore Snowbelt, as lake effect snow bands will increase snowfall totals to 3 to 8 inches. The highest totals will be in the Upper Peninsula.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Monday evening, Monday night, and Tuesday morning for Iron County. Snowfall totals of 2 to 5 inches are possible near Lake Superior, such as Highway 2 and the Hurley/Ironwood region.

#Rain #showers are starting to form across the #Northland. They will continue to expand in coverage. A few #moderate cell are possible, but most should be #light.

A Gale Warning is in effect through Thursday evening for most of the communities along the Lake Superior shoreline, with Small Craft Advisories along the Cook County portion of the North Shore and locations east of Ashland Bay. Waves could get as high as 8 feet in the head of the lake region.
