The winds blows softly

On a lovely evening in August last year I was walking along a beach with my wife. The sun was getting low in the sky casting a faintly yellow glow over the world.

This long exposure shot captures the movement of clouds, and the wind blown grass. Even though there wasn’t much wind, it’s all relative when the photo is 13 seconds long.

The landscape of Dartmoor is quite varied although it is geologically a #granite intrusion into the Earth’s crust it has been shaped by weathering, erosion and human intervention, such as #agriculture and #forestry.
