Got a bunch of cool shots tonight in front of the State House - so many different lights going on, was really pretty - I love how they play off of the trees and statues and buildings and everything.

Shot from the lawn in front of the New Hampshire State House, looking out onto Main Street. It's really dark out, but everything is lit up from a ton of different light sources - including the nearly full moon and a crazy tall Christmas Tree they put up right in front of the archway entrance.

The trees on the lawn are catching the light from the lamps along the walkways, which is making them practically glow. The hotel across the way has 5 columns of lights shooting all the way up. And then all the lights on Main Street.

I used DxO PhotoLab's split toning setting on this photo I took at dusk tonight of the Christian Scientists' Church in Concord, NH. I'm not quite sure what that setting is for - but I feel like it gave the church a good, ominous look. What do you think?

Beautiful, old, gothic style, granite church built in 1903. You can see the tall spire and the main building here. The sky looks ominously red-tinted, and the windows are all lit up with a golden light coming through. There are a few bare tree branches crossing the picture as they've mostly lost all of their leaves by now, although the one in front is covered in dead leaves that somehow haven't fallen off yet.

Today was my first time with the Tamron 70-180 lens I got for my new Sony A7RV and it's really delightful!!

I love how a bunch of the toys have their legs hanging off the shelves like they're having a good time, swinging their legs - including a stuffed elephant and something with black and white striped legs and polka dot shoes. There's also a lion, a pig, a frog (I think - I just see green legs hanging out) and a couple of stuffed plants in smiling pots. It's really an eclectic collection.

Julie and I spent a day hiking Mackinac Island State Park back in September. Great trail system and there were times when we would not see another hiker for an hour or more. And so much Fungi!

I used a combination of vintage camera lenses including a Canon 70-210mm F4 FD Macro and a Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8.

There's a spot in the #GobiDesert where sunset briefly casts light on the face of these cliffs. On the day of my visit it was cloudy and it appeared that I was out of luck. But as there was a fleeting moment where the sun broke through. I have tweeked the brightness-contrast to make the shot more attractive to me.

Part 4 of photos from last weekend when Julie and I drove up into Michigan's Old Mission Peninsula and explored the beach at the Mission Point Lighthouse.

Beachgoers were enjoying walking out into the shallow waters of the bay. A great spot to watch people having great times.

The now abandoned concrete snow shed in the former town of Wellington, WA. This snow shed was built after the deadliest avalanche in US History to protect the track from future disasters. Casey IL is known for having the "world's largest" version of several items. It's a fun visit if you find yourself nearby.

I took several photos under harsh sunlight and decided they looked better with a black & white conversion. I also added a little grain. Then I decided to bring up the colors on certain elements. I think it works 😃

All processing done in #Darktable without fancy iPhone AI stuff.

Hey #Seattle people! This beaver lives at the pond at the north end of Golden Gardens park. Shooting with a telephoto lens gives the illusion of being up close and personal, but I was not actually anywhere near this cute little critter. I watched it cross the pond a couple times bringing grass to its home.
