"Twist of Fate" is a song recorded by British-Australian singer #OliviaNewtonJohn for the #soundtrack to the 1983 film #TwoOfAKind. Written by #PeterBeckett and #SteveKipner, and produced by #DavidFoster, the song was released as the first #single from the album on 21 October 1983, and reached number four in Australia and Canada. It reached its peak position of number five on the US #Billboard Hot 100 in January 1984, becoming Newton-John's 15th.
Interpretemos electromiografías al sonido de las guitarras, las percusiones y el desgarro de gargantas…
"91-19" by #EminNilsen and Rushex is a #synthwave music that combines nostalgia and futurism. The opening chords of the song are evocative of the legendary Blade Runner #soundtrack, but the pair swiftly takes the listener on a voyage into their own world.

This is one of my favourite soundtracks of late. Dark, instrumental, experimental, riveting!

"Awe-inspiring cinematic and epic sounds"
From the album Ghosts In The Dark
Eerie drones and creepy synth pings to question your fragile sanity. Short spooky & atmospheric horror track.
"Through the Eyes of Love (Theme from Ice Castles)" (sometimes incorrectly referred to as "Looking Through the Eyes of Love"), is an #AcademyAward and #GoldenGlobeAward-nominated ballad performed by American singer #MelissaManchester, from the #soundtrack of the 1978 film #IceCastles.
One of the first things that your professors tell you is that the most important thing is to find your own voice. I remember hearing that constantly while studying, trying to find out who I am, not just musically but in life. I was thinking about that a lot. But I think that advice is less helpful than helpful. Because it just makes you anxious.

I've been doing Charlie Morgan's website for longer than that, and *I've* never even seen this video!
Behind the scenes in the studio with a full on orchestra, Charlie on drums and David Arnold playing #guitar.
Kids evening chore time needed a soundtrack, and they chose
#MusicMonday! I've yet to watch #TheKiller, but I'm already head over heels in love with its soundtrack by #TrentReznor and #AtticusRoss. Can't wait to see the actual scene behind "The Brute, Pt. 2", hahaha! My favorite track by far is "One of the Many", though. It starts so peaceful and calm, yet ends so furious, swirling and wild.
This one is not as good as the other album but I really like the light touch of smooth Retrowave in this.
I still have a fascination for slow Sonic songs. It make my heart go wheee. 🥰
Spent the afternoon and evening reviving my old Spotify account. Added a bunch of my favorite songs and tracks.
If you'd like to check out my musical taste and maybe discover some new songs, you're invited to my Spotify profile:
It's a one-hour animated timelapse of how scientists believe our planet has evolved over the past 4.5 billion years. The #soundtrack is really nice; great to put on in the background while working/studying.
I did this illustrations about 6 years ago, but it's still one of my favourite ones!
Super happy it now finally got released on vinyl as well!
Here's the fourth piece of music from @RaspberryJam game Rootin Tootin Lootin & Shootin called Swamp.
It is my first ever piece of Cumbia! Have a listen and tell me what you think. But be gentle.
I can tell you the new demo is looking really good and we are excited about releasing it soon.
The first track is inspired by Ennio Morricone (can you tell?) All my tracks are still in development and are works in progress. At the very least some of the parts need to be recorded properly, timing issues sorted.
I welcome any feedback!
So here's the first piece of music from @RaspberryJam game Rootin Tootin Lootin & Shootin and it's called Saloon.
Hopefully it will play right in Mastodon for you. It is inspired by Ennio Morricone. None of these tracks are completely finished, at the very least some of the parts need to be re-recorded.
I would welcome your feedback!
Might as well go all-in... In addition to listening to the standard soundtrack releases, I'm also ploughing through the whopping 10 hour/212 track release of unreleased Badalamenti music from Twin Peaks seasons 1 & 2, and Dean Hurley's dark ambient score, Anthology Resource, from season 3.

We have been experimenting with a self-hosted #faircamp.
Complimentary to that we're hoping to retain some of our #bandcamp community friends and invite more to keep an ear to the ground of our sonic resurgence.
Please join our new, old school, self-hosted, zero nonsense mail list for occasional event, project and release news from control freak studio.
It's the time of the year where I get to share my (bafflingly) most popular mix ever.
Whether you want to scare the 💩 out of your #party guests, need a #spooky #soundtrack for that last minute #monster #making marathon or just really like listening to #WeirdMusic, I've got you covered!
Check it out at https://hearthis.at/axwax/axwax-halloween-mix-2015/ if you're that way inclined! 🎃 🦇 🔈 🎶
I just love Deus Ex Human Revolution. The Micheal McGann score is amazing. Even if this one is an hommage to the OG game.
With the whole sound design it really pushes you into this techno-noir world
@jalefkowit I've never heard of this movie. I actually thought it was a composition by Philip Glass (turns out I'm right in a way, since Glass did the soundtrack for this movie). I became aware of the music when my drum corps, the Toledo Glassmen, opened their final season's performance in 2012 with selections from the soundtrack.
One of my favorite tracks from the second volume of the Ahsoka score: "Thrawn's Arrival". Like an amped up version of his Rebels theme and kinda has a spooky vibe as well
Check out all the ways to listen to Ahsoka score volume 2 here:
I also make music. I'm learning and a lot of my music needs better production but here's something I've been working on for my son's game Rootin Tootin Lootin and Shootin. There will be many more tracks. The music is supposed to have an Americana feel.
If you like the music check out his game at http://raspberryjam.co.uk/
The #game is out! The #soundtrack is out! Over an hour of #chiptune pleasure and 4 #rap track remixes! We've spent 12 years on this - please add it to your #Bandcamp carts for #BandcampFriday and spread the word!
Ahsoka soundtrack for episodes 1-4 out now!

SAILOR MOON FANS: DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS STRING MUSIC IS? It’s a one-off, unique theme and recording. But there don’t seem to be formal recordings of it? It isn’t from a preexisting classical quartet/chamber music piece, as far as I know. I’m certain it’s an original composition.
Since the VLC just runs through the music folder on my Windows 7 machine in alphabetical order, sometimes I'll end up hearing something I haven't heard in a while and I stick on it, which is cool.
Apparently today is the day I run through everything instrumental I have on here by Trent Reznor (and Atticus Ross). That's Ghosts I-VI and the MANY soundtracks he's done (Before the Flood, Bird Box, Gone Girl, Quake, Patriot's Day, Mank, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Social Network, Empire of Light, Mutant Mayhem, Watchmen).
A/B testing for the win! Received my new (old) headshell today. My Akai AP-Q41 #turntable uses a unique headshell so to easily / quickly compare my new #Grado Green cartridge against the original (factory) #Ortofon SMB 12 I needed a second.
I suspected the SMB 12 was showing signs of age (40+ yrs)
The album was old, and both cartridges picked up the surface noise, but it was more noticeable with the Ortofon.
I needed to turn up the preamp for the Grado. Impressed that it really separated the instruments and gave me a good visual soundstage, where the Ortofon kinda mushed them together - the harp especially did not standout as it was with the Grado.
Overall, nice to be able to justify the upgrade and purchase, though I'm keeping the Ortofon as it's 'original' to the turntable.
