For today’s art share, I’m throwing it back to a rocket piece that started a series I’m hoping to expand! “SPACEX DM-2 LAUNCH”, 9x12”, ink on illustration board. (Prints available!)

Visible is the black launch tower, white “strong back” support arm, and windowed crew access arm. The bottom of the tower is obscured by the exhaust plume, seen in dark grays and golds. I’m fascinated by transit photography—the skill and timing (and equipment) involved breaks my brain a little. Working on a third square piece of the ISS transiting the #Moon, this time in colored pencil with a little ink. Good opportunity to test out this new Holbein pencil set!
