This weekend I finished up my next test design - Lady Wisdom! Strategy is her forte, and numerous arts & crafts. She was present at creation, says Psalms, and is traditionally depicted with an owl & the spear of truth.

Cleared off the altar at home entirely, and allowed my hands to select the next items to be assembled.
The base layer is paper gleaned from Mom’s studio, a two-tone indigo blue. The pop-up altar is Ganesha, the elephant-headed brother of Murugan, with whom I more-usually associate. The doily is something that passed down in the family from mid-20th century. The triple-rattle is a whistle from a childhood collection, it’s not a good whistle but it is a good rattle. I harvested the sand dollars from the Washington State coast.
There’s a tiny greeting card with a bee design, a resin peacock figurine, and an elaborate wooden bead with gold leaf on it sitting in a small oil lamp acting as a pedestal. There are three precious stones. One is a small egg-shaped lapis lazuli piece, one is a short ruby-in-zoisite wand (pink in green), and a piece of fossilized tortoise shell that was given to me by one of the most potent magic practitioners I’ve ever met.

I got a tarot reading last weekend, and I was told that I had lots of dark fem energy that needed to be let out and nurtured. I tried looking it up, and I have my doubts. A handful of things are from TikTok and are being presented as a way to manipulate people (gross), and other pages describe it as the more assertive, transformational aspect of femininity from the passive one on display in society (light fem).

One of the reasons christian literalist ways of interpreting Jewish texts is often asinine is that paleo and biblical era Hebrew did not have vowels. It had root consonants, and the interpretation of a word depended on context, not text. And each set of consonant roots has a WIDE range of interpretations.
Take the word chametz - one interpretation is leaven (yeast), but the root itself means puffed up or inflated, as well as harsh, vinegar, oppressive, and distasteful, and so on. Each root has a full circle of meanings depending on the vowels and tense *you* choose to insert, as well as the topic of the surrounding text - each root of those words also having a wide range of meanings. And those vowel insertions are man-made, not scripture. Not "god's word."

Literalists cherry pick what interpretation they want, and insist that is "THE" meaning, when it is no such thing.
