Music Day 14: "V'ger"...Voyager 1 is now billions of miles outside the heliopause, as far from that boundary as Neptune is from Earth, and speeding onward at about a million miles a day.

And it will take a full 17,000 years to reach "only" one light year away from earth. And to think, the center of our own Milky Way is 28,500 light years from Earth...just wow.

Good morning! Here, have some #flowers. Enjoy your #Sunday.

A lovely big generous bunch of flowers in a glass vase, painted in a largely but not entirely realistic style. I'm rubbish at remembering which flowers are which, I'm afraid. There are some blue ones, some pink ones, some peach ones, some straw-coloured ones, some whitish-yellow ones, some lilac ones, some red ones. They are all fairly big, with either cup-shaped heads or flat daisylike heads. There are some strands of grass and wheat dotted in there too. The vase's glass has a green tint, but is still transparent so you can see the stems dipping their toes in the water. There are some snailshells (empty) by the base of the vase. In the top right there is a building arch.
