Having attended the Day Surgery Unit at Castle Hill Hospital (Cottingham) yesterday, I have only praise & admiration for all the staff there. Doctors, nurses, aneasthetists, admin - everyone was cheery, helpful & very pleasant. The operation went smoothly. I can't fault anything. I'm at home recovering (well). No GGB gigs until the middle of July.

For some reason during my years using @Tutanota I encountered a dozen websites that had issues sending automated emails for #email verification or 2FA codes to my inbox. I checked spam & rejected emails but there was nothing. It was always such a hassle to explain this phenomena to #support. To this day I don't understand why these websites struggle with #Tutanota addresses specifically.
Did this ever happen to you?

When you automate responses to chat messages, phone calls or email that reach your support, you are probably doing something wrong.
You automate a human-to-human communication interface, that's bad. Consider to improve your docs, the way to find your docs, error messages and general userflows instead.
As a writer, I've found it enjoyable to have reminders to add alt-text to images I upload here. It's a chance for me to, quite literally, paint with words. I try to both capture practical elements of my uploads as well as their emotional experience - that is, the feeling that was evoked in me that led to my uploading the image.
I get to practice my art and, at the same time, promote diverse access. Win, win - and I highly recommend all the other writers here take advantage of it.
