We got mail from our friends in #TelAviv and they are very moody because of the political situation and the bombs. It's all coming to a head, but I still have faith in the future and in change - not only for Israel, but for the whole earth and all its challenges.

Yesterday, like every Saturday in the past several months, 10s of thousands of Israelis protested against the fascist coalition regime of NetanYahu/Beb-Gvir while western media almost entirely refuse to cover it.
When a few 100 people gathered in Tehran and other Cities in Iran single subject "democracy loving" keyboard warriors were all over social media and MSM was reporting about it 24/7 as if Iran was about to have a second revolution and the regime was going to collapse.
Every Saturday, in the past 3 months, millions of Israelis have protested against the power grab of Israeli Trump and his Jewish KKK interior minister trying to turn the apartheid regime into a theocratic fascist regime with blessing or silence of the moral guardians of our world in EU and US.
In the mean time more Palestinian homes being demolished daily, more land being grabbed and almost every day a young Palestinian falls victim for the Israeli occupation forces who don't even bother hiding their inhumanity or trying to crush or confiscate the phone of those recording their crimes or war crime.
We have not only turned numb but willingly compliant to the horrendous crimes of the occupying regime.
The Openly fascist KKK leader of political wing of the Kahanist terror group is now the interior minister and openly talks about "taking the gloves off" and "no Israeli police of military should ever do anything to save the lives of injured 'terrorists' (read Palestinian children)" on national TV. Proudly admitting to encourage thei LEA of Israel to commit war crime
But don't worry, 1000of people shared the story of Puting saying that Ukraine citizens in breakout regions should be deported, with outrage and disgust (justifying so) they point out the outrageous ethnic cleansing of those regions, while ignoring that the same policy has been the basic foundation of creation of state of Israel and it's being done daily without anyone of those people lifing an eye brow.
After all, Palestinians are not "Civilized Europeans" and if they manage to sell all their lives savings and seek refuge in europe, they will be called Muslim occupiers, terrorists and a danger to current and future of the beacons of freedom in Europe.

I've been doing a Robert Ashley deep dive. Returning to his work reminded me of how I might get back to what matters on a large project of my own, on which I had gotten off course. Last night I saw a YouTube video of a performance of his "Automatic Writing" by Object Collection. I just got two albums of theirs, one from Cafe Oto (where, as a member, I get a few downloads a month), and one (like the rest of this list) from Bandcamp.
I also got two discs by VariSpeed Collective, who have been performing Ashley's "Perfect Lives," as well as other works, much of which is online as video. I almost got a third, but Bandcamp reminded me that I had already bought it but had forgotten it.
I also got an album of Ornette Coleman pieces for guitar by Noel Akchoté, and an album by a local #TelAviv artist, Grisha Shaknhes, who I'd been meaning to check out.
And I got an album of music by Ada Van Hoorebeke (recommended, I think, by @poemproducer), and one by Cage of Light (recommended by @c_reider).
All for about US $10. Lots of good listening ahead!

An aspect that people presenting as feminine should be aware about, is the agressive, borderline harassing behaviour some men use in #telaviv night clubs. While I have yet to observe an ignored "No", this type of approach certainly shocked me the first few times. This goes as far as grabbing someones hand and de facto forcing them to suddenly dance with a complete stranger.
Tel Aviv is internationally known for its nightlife and being #LGBTQ-friendly. I can certainly attest for this, even during the week you can lose yourself till early in the morning in clubs on Rothschild Boulevard. It's not unusual to see two people of the same sex holding hands or kissing in public. This transfers analogous to clubs and bars.
