Just for fun project. I was looking for a fancy little purse to make and saw a pattern called Marigold by #miadesignsbykomal My first thought was #Sunflower ! So I made some changes as I went and it turned into this. I actually think this looks cuter in person. So many thoughts running through my head of other things you could adapt and make. Giant Rose? Plate of Food? Or just use some crazy neon stripey colors for a hippie bag?

Just sitting in the sun 🌞 for a moment with the dogs and cat and I look around at the blue sky and .my blooming tree and I take a deep breath and a butterfly 🦋 wanders by. Does it get any better?

I have been looking at my little mushroom canister prototype trying to figure out how to turn it into an acceptable cat toy that can be filled with catnip or treats and it just occurred to me this morning.
I added a coaster as a liner (because it was what was sitting close by) then made two crochet buttons on the side, made a strap that goes through the lid to hook on the buttons.

I have been seeing these crochet coaster sets all over the place suddenly. Leaves, then you put them in a crochet pot to look like leaves in a pot. I got stuck on the idea that you could make them look like flowers. I used buttons so you can attach them to the stems and stand them up in a vase. And that is how I spent my day :)
