as far as i can tell the highest defense armor in #totk is a feathered headdress, big chunky blue sweater, shorts that are shorter than the sweater, giving that “nude below the waist” look, and sandals. and the second highest defense is the cat furry armor.

#GenshinImpact is very pretty and always gives me FOMO surrounded by people playing it, but every time I revisit and play it I honestly feel lost lol. And while it's really fun for the most part, my expectations perhaps got set a lil too high for it (due to the pretty visuals, and popularity) so when I encounter some jankiness in certain elements of gameplay, it feels a bit jarring. The mechanics feel like it could be as fluid as #NierAutomata or as polished as #Zelda #BOTW/#TOTK, but it's not. It's not all bad though, I'd say 80-90% of it is great - esp considering that it's free (so far at least for me, not sure if the later parts of the game would require/incentivise you to spend any money).
Zelda's voice actress in BotW/TotK would love tackle the role for the live-action film:

I’ve been watching a series hosted by English physicist Brian Cox about the universe. He shows a several buildings/temples/henges where the sun rises on the December solstice and goes between pillars or windows, etc
Then I realized, Hyrule must be on the equator because you can always count on the sun doing its thing to open a shrine or some other hidden thing every day. You don’t have to wait until an equinox or a solstice.

The ideal ending, story-telling-wise would have been Link realizing that he can't return Zelda from being the light dragon, so he decides that he joins her side as an immortal dragon of courage or whatever the tasty stones songs would have made him.
That would have made my heart explode. Way better than the cheap and convenient copout ala "oh well, the permanent dragonification wasn't permanent at all because of genetic reasons somehow".

I have—probably very foolishly—begun work on a soundtrack to Curse of Strahd, or at least to Death House, for my group of players who’ll be entering Barovia on Thursday.
Taking structural inspiration from Manama Kataoka’s incredible work on Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and harmonic inspiration from man I don’t even know. It’s pretty weird so far, and I’m happy with it.

Some of my favorite #amiibo from my collection are the ones I have made. Eight koroks printed with a wood filament that sanded down to a porcelain finish. I only wish I had the skill to paint them well. That was a long labor of love.

Got a new transparent case to show off my #NintendoSwitch #TOTK edition.
It was kinda cheap and hard plastic, but it protects the design and it's also more comfortable to hold!
For a variety of reasons, I was never able to get into Breath of the Wild. Chief among them was the lack of proper, elaborate dungeons/temples to explore (paired with all the breaking weapons 😖)
But #TotK solved all of BotW's shortcomings for me. Such a treat!
I would still have loved if the dungeons had been 1.5-2x the scale but, as it stands, I thoroughly enjoyed the path of getting to them and then through them. Again, kudos all around!
Tonight, after an embarrassing (yet VERY enjoyable) 230 hours of gameplay, I have finished Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
It was a *supremely* satisfying ending. I regret nothing!
#TotK is the first installment since Ocarina of Time that I've been this invested in!
