Unter rund 1.000 Mitbewerber*innen wurde die trans Schauspielerin und Synchronsprecherin Philippa Jarke als neue Ansagestimme der Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe ausgewählt.
Seit Sonntag ist die Stimme der 45-Jährigen in den ersten Bussen der BVG zu hören. Nach und nach sollen auch die Straßenbahnen und U-Bahnen umgestellt werden. In über 100 Studiostunden nahm Philippa Jarke für alle Haltestellen und weitere Ansagen rund 4.200 Sprach-Dateien auf.
Die Berlinerin, die u.a. die Hollywood-Stars Ashton Kutcher und Ben Stiller synchronisierte, überzeugte in einem mehrstufigen Casting "mit ihrer einzigartigen Stimme und als starke Persönlichkeit", heißt es in einer Mitteilung der BVG.

I just wanna put this out there. If you're reading this, are AMAB, and have like any sort of feelings like a "feminine" side, or you find that you use mainly female characters because it feels more comfortable, you should explore the possibility of being trans/non-binary ASAP
When I was younger I started making female characters more than make characters and it like completed something in me, kind of. But it wasn't enough, there was always this feeling of "but Im not actually female". The idea of me being attract as a feminine person was impossible
But that was just society LYING TO ME, like it does to all of us. Because I am attractive, and I would have been even more attractive back then if I had known it was possible. I could have not wasted so much time STRIVING TO BE MASCULINE. I regret it now.
If I knew that I could be trans and it would be okay and I would be attractive and feel as good as I do now, I would have done this years ago. If I could have gotten on puberty blockers I would have. Society stole a huge portion of my life with these lies. Don't fall for it.

I feel that the forecast of mashup culture was a accurate prediction but not singular in perspective but I find it hard to believe the culture of the filmmakers would lend well to a movement for #TransVisibility given their history. Hi, I'm Miriam aka. Miri aka. Miri Mayhem. I fled from :birdsite: early this year because of its inherent drama and it essentially being a second Gab and joined the first instance that looked alright. But finding an instance that actually matches, without creating a new one, is a bit more difficult, so here I am now.
I'm a polyamorous, asexual, trans lesbian, who only started this spring being open about being trans after trying and failing at being stealth. I'm pretty active on Instagram and try to bring more #Transvisibility on there as well as hoping to inspire trans siblings who are early in their journey.
In my offline life I'm currently a nursing student and trying to maintain the last bit of humanity that hasn't already been lost due to alarming lack of nursing staff. In my free time I'm playing Roller Derby in a local league and am planning to get a foot into officiating games as well.
That's it, for now at least.
