Not only dancing can gift us with a better state of mind and spirited mood (which I tried by sharing several clips yesterday), but also knowing that there are still great people out there doing important work on various levels. One of the most famous of them is without any doubt Greta Thunberg.
Without her (and the many young people courageously following in her footsteps) we would not be talking about the climate catastrophe the way we are talking about it now, I’m sure.
Today, I was reminded of her and her unique ways of looking at things with a video from Sept ’19 which I will now share. It’s an interview with Naomi Klein for The Intercept in which they touch several topics; for us social media users, there’s an interesting aside at 5:05 when she talks about how she deals with trolls… displaying her uplifting sense of humour, too.

Somehow I feel like having federated moderation helps, some prosocial cooperation network effect. Regular users can block or mute (ghost) entire #instances.
And I think #server #admins look out for each other, especially marginalized communities. Even with the flood of newcomers I saw very little increase in #spam and #trolling... from my white male US freeloader (no server) bleacher seats.
