Bei diesem Pulli endlich die viel zu kleine Kapuze ab (ich weiß nicht, was sich Kleidungsmacher dabei denken dass die meisten Kapuzen nur bis zum Haaransatz gehen) und damit auch endlich den zu engen Halsausschnitt erweitert (ich will die Brille nicht abnehmen müssen um einen Pulli über zu werfen) und die Ärmel ab. Und jetzt hab ich nen schönen Überwurf um im Herbst/Winter auch draußen Sport zu machen 💪🥳

Es ging aber bei meinem Workshop nicht nur um Technik und Regulierung, sondern auch um Politik, #Upcycling und das üben des Aufhängen am #Balkon.

Der der Workshop immer am ersten Tag stattfand, war er auch immer ein guter Einstieg, auch in viele Themen der #Elektrotechnik. Die Teilnehmenden bekamen auch ein Zertifikt als “Elektrisch unterwiesene Person” (EuP)..

Überhaupt glaube ich, dass das Thema #BalkonSolar, so wie im richtigen Leben, eine gute Einsteiger Sache für die Leute ist. 🧵

I made a bathrobe for my SO by #Upcycling torn sheets. It was the 1st project big enough I had to cut/pin it on the floor & is still my largest project so far. 5 years later, this is still my favorite project. It's probably his favorite, too - he wears it all the time! I was learning how to line things, so there are pops of blue swirly #fabric hidden all over the robe.

#Upcycling. #SlowFashion I have old #jackets that no longer fit me at the arms and in the broader shoulders (muscles are apparently not intended for women). I didn't want to give away this piece of pure #linen.
What happens if I radically cut out the too-tight ugly sleeves? It changes! Fits, except at the waist. A simple trick: I remove the buttons. And close it with a single beautiful button that sits in the place of the left one. I just have to hem the sleeves again, done! #waistcoat @sewing

A ladies' jacket in the fashion of the late 1980s, bought in Warsaw in 1993 in the old state's Department Store Centrum. The style with overemphasised shoulder pads, and accentuated, pointed corners is no longer wearable for me. But the fabric is pure linen in a quality that is hard to find today. Linen colours, natural. Large buttons on the belly and cuffs. Suit collar.

Shoulder pads made of foam that disgustingly disintegrates. Inside the mesh fabric, all the foam has crumbled into a sticky residue.

I hate writing introduction posts.

So, I guess I'm an #anarchist now. It's not so much that my values have changed, though a few of them have. Mostly it's that the meanings of the old labels have changed.

For instance, in the 80s I was a #conservative because I believed in less government. Now I'm an anarchist for the same reason.

Former #Army. Mississippian. Recovering racist - of the "don't see color" variety - so I had never confronted the deeply buried racism I didn't realize was there, implanted by my upbringing and culture.

I love to #foster kittens and promote good pet health and training. I'm interested in landscaping with native plants. I think of things to write or sing all the time, so #SongIdea is one of my big hashtags.

Left Mississippi at 19 and was gone for over 30 years. So a lot of stuff has changed, but most stayed the same. A lot more people recognize me than I them, and I'm unhappy about that. Big gaps in my memory and bad at recognition.

I love rustic living so I spend a lot of time at deer camp. Interested in natural building techniques, reusing materials, #upcycling and #permaculture. Probably #solarpunk also.

i am holding a plastic ice cream tub. the label on the lid has been removed. the label on the sides has been covered with red foil.

the white lid has been decorated with stickers cut from the scraps of the foil. they depict a cat sitting under a crescent moon.

Spring

I hate writing introduction posts.

So, I guess I'm an #anarchist now. It's not so much that my values have changed, though a few of them have. Mostly it's that the meanings of the old labels have changed.

For instance, in the 80s I was a #conservative because I believed in less government. Now I'm an anarchist for the same reason.

Former #Army. Mississippian. Recovering racist - of the "don't see color" variety - so I had never confronted the deeply buried racism I didn't realize was there, implanted by my upbringing and culture.

I love to #foster kittens and promote good pet health and training. I'm interested in landscaping with native plants. I think of things to write or sing all the time, so #SongIdea is one of my big hashtags.

Left Mississippi at 19 and was gone for over 30 years. So a lot of stuff has changed, but most stayed the same. A lot more people recognize me than I them, and I'm unhappy about that. Big gaps in my memory and bad at recognition.

I love rustic living so I spend a lot of time at deer camp. Interested in natural building techniques, reusing materials, #upcycling and #permaculture. Probably #solarpunk also.
