I wonder if anyone has thought of an app that lets you - as a young kid - find your "peeps" -- the folks that resonate with you , folks who would #value you for who you are, and not judge you for worthless things like appearance, upbringing, etc.
I had a #dream once where I entered a gymnasium full of people who were my 'peeps'. And it was like walking into heaven. The look in their eyes when they saw me was something I'll treasure forever. Even if it was just a dream, it's worth so much to me to find a way to make that a reality for myself and others.
So many kids are pushed into situations where they are bullied, judged, or hurt, and it's just such a waste. #everyone has talents, skills, or just a natural desire to do something. And we should be finding ways to cultivate that, not ways to force everyone into a cookie cutter existence.

The capital classes are ready for the final rug-pull, where all the value is transfered FROM people who #make things for a living TO people who #own things for a living.
"Activist investors" have triggered massive waves of tech layoffs, #firing so many #tech #workers so quickly that it's hard to even come up with an accurate count. The total is somewhere around 280,000 workers:
These layoffs have nothing to do with "trimming the fat" or correcting the hiring excesses of the lockdown. They're a project to #transfer #value FROM workers, customers and users TO shareholders.

It's all about avoiding #risk by offloading it to others.
This is basic #capitalism where #externalities (such as the health of people living downwind of the chemical plant) are not factored in.
