In addition, she also wrote a (well-received) memoir and directs really good music #videos. I'm thinking about her today, because her cover of "Head Over Heels" by Tears for Fears is fantastic. I mean, I like the Gary Jules "Mad World," but this is even better.

The #EldenRing manga is *extremely* weird and pitch perfect.

While the carbot animation shorts on YouTube capture the vibe, the (newly translated) manga captures the absurdity. Both understand that Elden is a comedy, much like how #DnD usually plays out.

It probably doesn’t land well if you haven’t played the game, but recommended if you have.

It uses the same material as everything else, looks and behaves the same way under light in Blender, but remains stubbornly unlit in Godot.

It'll turn out to be something very simple of course, but for now...how odd!

Next task on my list just reads "make it into a real game" so I think it might be time to break that down a bit now...

I made some more progress on my Untitled Witch Game, made in Scratch.

I added the instakill Death Spells (a substitute for Photon Torpedoes from the old Star Trek game it's based on), and added some prompts to accommodate for various actions.

It'll still be a while before I have what I want in mind, but I'm nonetheless happy that progress is being made.
